Here are six simple and very important tools you need to know and have to learn before you master photoshop. Starting with the Brush Tool, Pencil Tool, Eraser Tool, Paint Bucket Tool, Gradient Tool, Text Tool each tool has it's own part to play in photoshop

The Paint Bucket Tool (G) fills a selection with a flat color. To use the Paint Bucket Tool, click once in the area that you wish to fill. If the chosen area is not within a selection, the Paint Bucket Tool will fill all similarly-colored pixels within the vicinity of the clicked area.

The Gradient Tool (G) fills a selection with a blend of two or more colors, known as a gradient. You can easily create your own gradient, or use any of the preset gradients available in Photoshop.Display the gradient presets and tools by clicking on the small triangle on the righthand

side of the Gradient Tool. Apply a gradient by setting your desired colors, choosing your gradient style, then clicking and dragging the cursor over the area to be filled.

The Text Tool (T), true to its name, creates text layers. This one's easy to use-just select the Text Tool, click on the canvas, and start typing! You can also click and drag to create a rectangular text area that will force text to wrap within its boundaries.

You can change the font size, color, and other text properties using the options bar along the top of the window. When the Text Tool is active, you can move the cursor outside of the text area. The cursor will change from the “text insert” cursor to the “move” cursor, and you'll be able to move the text layer around.

It's worth noting that when the Text Tool is active, you can't use keyboard shortcuts to access other tools. This may seem like an obvious thing to point out now, but it won't always be so apparent-especially when your text mysteriously starts spurting strange characters because you've been trying to use the shortcut keys!

To finish using the Text Tool, press Ctrl-Enter (Command-Return on a Mac). You can then resume your regular keyboard shortcutting!

Prior to digital cameras you were pretty much stuck with the result from your film camera. If you didn\'t get the shot right you were out of luck. You had no way to fix the photo or even know if it was bad in the first place, until you received it from the film processor. While there were few people who could attempt to fix film processed photos it was not only time consuming but expensive as well.

Fortunately with digital technology we no longer have to worry about our photos not turning out. With digital cameras we can instantly see whether the shot we took was worth keeping or if we needed to retake it. With the aid of photo editing software we can take the photos that need tweaking and fix them with a few clicks of a mouse as revealed by adobe photoshop tutorials.

While there are many photo editing software programs on the market without a doubt Adobe Photoshop is one of the most popular. Photoshop not only allows you to edit your photos but comes built in with loads of tools for manipulating them as well. Used by amateurs and professionals alike, Photoshop is definitely able to meet any challenge that is thrown at it.

What is it about Photoshop that makes it so impressive? Adobe Photoshop tutorials explain just how:-

Packaged inside Photoshop are all the tools you will need to edit, enhance, and alter photos. Lighting issues are a common problem however using Photoshop you can enhance the image and make it brighter and the colors more vivid . By playing with the brightness, contrast, color balance and intensity you can make the photograph look as if it were taken under perfect conditions.

Red eye is another common problem that plagues most photographers. Built in to Adobe Photoshop is a red eye tool that will be able to detect red eye on any picture and eliminate it. Amazingly enough, your subject will never look as if they had the wild eyed look about them.

One of the biggest challenges of any photographer is taking photos of their friends and family. Without fail you will have complaints about blemishes, the photos make them look fat, etc. Grandma Jones will complain about her wrinkles, your mother will complain about her saggy chin … I think you are getting the idea here.

Adobe Photoshop contains everything you will need to make you family and friends super model perfect. Easily erase wrinkles and age spots, make faces look fuller or thinner, even add color to the cheeks to make pale faces look healthier; remove unwanted objects in the face, such as pimples, and acne scars. You can even put make up on the face of the subject if you want.

You can even make fat people look super model thin with the tools of Adobe Photoshop.
